Rotary District 7620 Scholarships
Rotary District 7620, which includes most of Maryland and Washington, D.C., is pleased to call for applications for two types of scholarships from Rotary Clubs in our District. District 7620 Post Secondary Scholarships offer matches up to $2,000 for students residing in Rotary District 7620 and enrolled in an accredited college, university or technical school in District 7620 for the 2011-2012 academic year. Rotary Clubs may submit applications for matching by District 7620 to:

These applications will be reviewed and candidates interviewed in May 2011 to select the scholarships to be matched.
One Future Vision Global Grant Scholarship for $30,000 minimum will likely be awarded for the 2012-2013 academic year to pursue a graduate school program and support Rotary goals in an underdeveloped country abroad in one or more areas including Peace and Conflict Resolution, Maternal and child health, Disease prevention and treatment, Basic education and literacy, Water and sanitation or Economic and community development. The original and electronic copy of completed applications for Future Vision Global Grant Scholarships should be submitted by 31 October 2011 to a Rotary club in District 7620, listed on the web site above. After review of applications and scholar interviews, clubs may prioritize and submit the applications to District 7620 by 1 December 2011. These applications will be reviewed and candidates interviewed in January 2012 to select the winning Scholars.
