It's time to identify prospects for our 2011-12 Group Study Exchange Team to Germany. The Team we select will travel to Southwest Germany from June 3, 2012 to July 1, 2012. It will consist of a Rotarian Team Leader and four or five non Rotarian young business people or professionals from our District who will serve as team members and are between the ages of 25 and 40.

The application deadline is October 1, 2011 and the applications need to be sent to my home address as indicated in the flyer, "Call for Applications". (Click Here for flyer)

Please work your communities for well qualified applicants who can spend a month in Germany with German Rotarian families and share vocational practices with Germans of similar backgrounds. This experience is a "Life Changing Event" for young business people and professionals. It is also, for many, their first contact with Rotary and our culture of "Service Above Self". These Team Members become great prospects for "Future Rotarians" and make life long friendships with folks from another country. It would be helpful if you seek out Applicants who speak German or at least have an understanding and appreciation for the language. It always makes a better impression on hosts if you can communicate with them in their language.
