THE 2012 ROTARY 4-WAY TEST ESSAY CONTEST

 

All CLUB PRESIDENTS in DISTRICT 7720 are asked to initiate a local 4-Way Test Essay Contest to include 7th and 8th graders in your local school district.

Please note the following information:

  1. This year's theme "Shaping the Future with the Rotary  4-Way Test"                                                                                             
  2. Rules and Entry forms are available on the District website: www.Rotary7720.org and also attached in this announcement.
  3. Clubs please submit your club's First Place Winner along with a copy of the winning essay to Cynthia Brown, Chair, District 7720 4-Way Test Essay Contest, P O Box 997, Jackson, NC 27845
  4. Submit no later than Friday, April 6, 2012 to Cynthia Brown, Chair, Rotary 4-Way Test Essay Contest, P O Box 504, Murfreesboro, NC 27855.
  5. District winners will be awarded: FIRST PLACE $150, SECOND PLACE $100,  THIRD PLACE $75.   First, Second and Third place winners will be awarded their prize during a meeting of the sponsoring Rotary Club or at another appropriate venue of the club's choosing.

If you decide to participate in this most worthwhile project, make plans now to contact the 7th and 8th graders in your local schools.  Share information about contest rules and   the contest entry form.   

 

Suggestion for Local Club Prizes:   Awards can be $50, $35, and $25 respectively for winners.  We also suggest that you consider providing an Incentive Award to the First Place Winner's teacher (gift certificate or gift card or a small cash award).
