Welcome to the Norwalk Rotary Club

President's Message

Thank you for visiting our site. It is an honor to be the President of the Rotary Club of Norwalk after having run my dental office in town for almost 30 years. We have a very exciting and dynamic club that is heavily committed to our community as we strongly emphasize the Rotary motto of "service above self". We strive to make a difference one project at a time. We are always looking for like-minded community-oriented people join our club. We warmly welcome and encourage active participation, new ideas and collaborated success from all of our members!

We have continued to bring huge smiles to the faces of our third graders in the city of Norwalk who receive a dictionary we give out every year through our support of literacy in the City of Norwalk. As we personally hand each child their own dictionary to keep and utilize and the reaction has always been the same, "Is it for me to keep?" Most of them have never owned their own book.

Some of the other projects we have done and will do during my term include preparing dinner for participants at the St Joseph Parenting Center, volunteering at the food tent for the Norwalk Seaport Association at the Norwalk Oyster Festival, helping children at the Carver Center, preparing food baskets for the underprivileged in our town at Thanksgiving, and many other local projects. We will organize 10 service events per year, which all benefit the town we dearly love.

If you are in the area on any Wednesday, please stop in as our guest for a meeting. We are located at the Norwalk Inn and Conference Center at 99 East Ave. We meet at 12:15pm over lunch and end at 1:30pm and strive to have a fun time with dynamic speakers talking about a variety of topics at our meetings. However, approximately once per month, we forego our lunch meeting for an after work informal social gathering at a local restaurant. Please check the calendar link to see where we are meeting on a particular week. For more information, please contact us at info@norwalkrotary.org.
