Club Meetings and Activities
Club Meetings are every Wednesday night at 5:30 p.m. at the Comfort Inn.
Board Meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of the Month at fellow Rotarian Frank Carreiro home at 6:00 p.m.

Lincoln School Mentoring Program
We have a great group of kids (19 total) this year at Lincoln School. Scott has already handed out 2 assignments to the group and the majority have already returned their first assignment which was a cross-word puzzle and a story utilizing all the words from the puzzle. If there is anyone that would like to know more about the Lincoln Mentoring Program please contact Scott. If you would like to join us at a Lincoln School Meeting the meeting dates are listed below, all meetings are on Tuesday's from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Please note: All Rotarians are required to sign in at the school office.

There will be a party at Adventure Park for those students that pass the program. This date will be announced as the end of the school year approaches.
Roosevelt Reading Program
Delia has arranged to continue our reading program at Roosevelt School. Delia will continue to solicit volunteers throughout the year for this program. If you have the time to join Delia in promoting literacy for these 3rd grade students please sign up to volunteer. If you would like more information on this program please contact Delia. If you would like to join us for Roosevelt Reading the reading dates are listed below, all reading dates are on Thursday's from 12:00 - 12:30 p.m. in Room 51. Please note: All Rotarians are required to sign in at the school office.

The 28th will be the last reading day for the students so those attending this day will bring cupcakes and juice boxes for the students as a "Thank You" for attending the program.
Dictionary Distribution Schedule
We will begin our distributions on January 21st. Any Rotarian wishing to participate in a distribution is encouraged to do so. Diana will send out an e-mail reminder prior to each distribution and if interested just let her know so that she can prepare appropriately.
PLEASE NOTE: All Rotarians must sign in at the office of each school location upon arrival.
A big Thank You to all Rotarians who participated in this project. Without your dedication programs such as these would not be successful. This year we distributed approximately 1,100 to children within the Hanford Elementary School District and the surrounding areas.
Kids Day 2009
Hanford Sunset Rotary participated in the Annual Kids Day Newspaper sale. Although the economy is suffering several of the groups sold out.
Please be proud that you are part of an organization that brought in $2,644.11.
Way to go Hanford Sunset.
