The Rotary Club of Jonesboro was chartered as the 520th Rotary club in the world on August 1, 1919. This makes us one of the oldest continuously operating civic organizations in our community. The club consists of approximately 180 professional women and men representing a diverse group of community, business and professional leaders. Our club sponsors as our major fund raiser, the Arkansas Sportshow which attracts approximately 20,000 visitors each year. Our work is focused on making the lives of children and adults better through increasing literacy, improving health and working, through The Rotary Foundation, for peace and understanding world-wide.
